What is CLEARING?

Clearing is an indispensible resource magazine for teachers of environmental and place-based education. For over 25 years, CLEARING has provided an invaluable service to the environmental and place-based education community.

As an independent non-profit publication, CLEARING embodies the accumulated knowledge, experience and passion of a region. It has documented the efforts of community groups, agencies, businesses, schools, teachers and students to build an ecologically sound, socially just and economically stable community.
