CLEARING is published 4 times a year, with issues appearing September, December, March, and June. Exact publication dates of each issue are difficult to pinpoint. Each issue is approximately 48 pages.
Beginning with the fall 2008 issue, CLEARING will be published in both online and paper format. You can choose which format works best for you. If you choose the online format, you will be provided with a password that will enable you to access the CLEARING webpage with the current on-line issue.
How to subscribe:
Option 1: Purchasing through PayPal
Here's the way to go if you want to pay for a subscription with your credit card. You will need to provide your credit card number, expiration date, and e-mail address to use this system.

Option 2: Mail-in Subscription
For the traditional method, you can simply send a check in the appropriate amount to Clearing Subscriptions, PO Box 82954, Portland OR 97282.
Option 3: E-mail and get invoiced
This requires me to type up an invoice and mail it to you, but some organizations and businesses need invoices to function. Therefore, this option is available to those so inclined. Simply send an e-mail to CLEARING, providing your name, affiliation, mailing address, billing address, and whether you want to receive the magazine electronically or the old-fashioned way (on paper). We will send an invoice and start your subscription with the very next issue.

CLEARING Launches Electronic Edition
In 2008, CLEARING is launching a new electronic version of CLEARING magazine. Subscribers to the printed edition continue to receive real paper copies, while those who choose an online subscription are given password access to each issue online. For a small extra fee, dual subscribers enjoy the advantages of both printed and electronic formats!
The new electronic format provides the following benefits:
* Your issues will arrive earlier than the printed copies.
* Your subscription will cost less than a print subscription (and for only a little bit more, you can choose to receive both formats). See rates below.
* Every website listing is hot-linked, providing quick access to more information about a topic or new educational resource.
Requirements? Only one. You must agree not to share password access or copy or e-mail your CLEARING issues for distribution to others. (You may, however, make copies of any article or activity in CLEARING to distribute to students in your classes or to educators attending workshops that you are giving.)
